Course Description: The Master of Arts by Personal Program (Arts) is a coursework degree designed to provide graduate students with a career-enhancing experience in Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities, Media, Tourism, Communication and Culture, and other specialty disciplinary areas within the Division. The course is designed for:

  Industry professionals seeking to extend and deepen their professional expertise in the creative and performing arts; media industries; gender issues; regional Asia; indigenous peoples and culture, social sciences, humanities, public relations, journalism, tourism and other discipline areas within the Division

  Professionals and others interested in critical social, policy and practice issues associated with the creative and performing arts; media industries; gender issues; regional Asia; indigenous peoples and culture, social sciences, humanities, public relations, journalism, tourism and other discipline areas within the Division.

  Those with a first degree looking to upgrade or enhance their skills through a cohesive program of study which may include a mini-project or dissertation.

Admission Requirements: To be eligible for admission to the MA by Personal Program (Arts) an applicant must normally have a bachelor degree requiring at least three years of equivalent full-time study. Graduates from fields other than those directly designated as relevant here are welcome into the course.
